Wang’s soil, concrete, aggregates, and hot-mix asphalt (HMA) testing laboratory holds certifications and accreditations from the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL), the Concrete and Cement Reference Laboratory (CCRL), and the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Wang’s project experience includes federal, state, and local highways and streets, rail and rapid transit facilities, airports, water, wastewater and sewer facilities, as well as public, commercial, and industrial structures. In recent years, Wang has been particularly active in the transportation sector, especially for the reconstruction of the Illinois State Toll Highway system, the City of Chicago, IDOT, and METRA.

Through Wang’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Wang Testing Services, Inc. (WTS), all materials testing technicians are members of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150 (AFL-CIO). WTS’ technicians have varying levels of Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) training by IDOT and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). In addition, the majority of Wang and WTS personnel have also completed the IDOT "Documentation of Contract Quantities" course and the IDOT S-33 "Soils Field Testing and Inspection".
