Established in 1982, Wang Engineering, Inc. (WEI) specializes in geotechnical engineering, construction inspection , and materials testing services. Over the past 26 years, WEI has provided these services to a wide range of private, public, and government clients throughout the United States and in several countries overseas.

WEI is prequalified to provide geotechnical engineering services by the Departments of Transportation in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, and Kentucky, and is also prequalified to provide construction inspection in Illinois. Our materials testing laboratory has been accredited by the AASHTO Accreditation Program for soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt testing.

WEI is a certified DBE by the Illinois Unified Certification Program (UCP) and numerous other local agencies in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Wisconsin. In addition, Wang Engineering, Inc. is also certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the City of Chicago, and a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
